Discover EPAT Shockwave Therapy For Cellulite Reduction, Pain, Tendonitis and / or Erectile Dysfunction (E.D.)

What is EPAT Shockwave Therapy?

Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Technology (EPAT) is the most advanced and highly effective non-invasive treatment method cleared by the FDA. This proprietary technology is based on a unique set of pressure waves that stimulate the metabolism, enhance blood circulation and accelerate the healing process. Damaged tissue gradually regenerates and eventually heals.

This non-invasive procedure represents a breakthrough treatment option for a broad range of conditions and is extremely versatile. It is used to treat cellulite and musculoskeletal pain, to promote smoother results after liposuction or other procedures, and to treat erectile dysfunction.

EPAT is also know as Shockwave therapy and Acoustic Wave Therapy (AWT). It works by sending pressure waves to the lower layers of skin tissue, through a series of acoustic pulses.

EPAT Shockwave Therapy for Cellulite Reduction

Using EPAT Shockwave Therapy with the goal of reducing the appearance of cellulite works by firming the skin. The waves help to trigger a boost in collagen production and relax stiff connective-tissue fibers. With the fibers less taut, dimpling from cellulite smooths out. It’s most commonly used on the butt, thighs, and arms.

Shockwave Therapy was originally developed to treat injuries and chronic pain in joints and muscles. However, it reportedly improved mobility, healing and people also saw a reduction in the appearance of cellulite.

One of the novel applications of EPAT is in the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Shockwave therapy applied to certain parts of the body results in the formation of new blood vessels which improves the flow of blood to such regions. Applied in low intensity, EPAT can be used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

Blood flow is critical to a man’s erection. When a man gets sexually stimulated, arteries widen and the penis is filled with blood, giving it the firmness required for vaginal penetration. A man that has problems with the flow of blood to the penis may have weak erections or no erections at all.

EPAT is a safe, comfortable and proven procedure for men to optimize sexual performance and to reverse the effects of Erectile Dysfunction (ED) due to poor blood flow.

How Long is a Treatment Session?

A typical EPAT shockwave therapy session takes anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. First, we apply a conducting gel to the area you want treated. Then we move the acoustic wand over the skin’s surface, administering a strong, vibrating massage. Pressure, length of session, and intensity will depend on your particular situation and is determined during your initial consultation.

A treatment series usually starts at 6 treatments done 2x per week for 3 weeks. For optimal results 2 or 3 series may be required with a total of up to 18 treatments.
